My TV shows nothing but static these days. The recent change from analog to digital left my TV missing the signal and empty of content. Often times we allow our faith, our life in Christ to suffer the same effect. Gradually clutter, ideas, apathy and an overwhelming sense of noise drowns out the message of Jesus that was once so clear. We hang around church and use words that have lost their meaning, their power. Gospel, sin, repent, Kingdom of God…what does all of this really mean in 2009 for someone in San Antonio?
