Our homes represent an opportunity to model and experience the very richest substance of our life in Christ. The Bible says that the way a husband and wife relate to each other is intended as a living picture of Jesus and the Church. The journey of pursuing a Christ-centered marriage, Christ-centered family and all of the relational dynamics involved is exciting - but not easy. Worthwhile pursuits never are, though!
The Marriage and Family Ministry Team at Grace Point Church is made up of couples who have a passion for serving others in the these powerful areas, flowing out of our own stories of Christ transforming our lives. Whether it is premarital preparations for marriage, help with blended family challenges, marriage mentoring, workshops and enrichment courses - this ministry exists to help see families at Grace Point experience the fullness of homes lived out in full devotion to Jesus Christ.

Love and Respect
Love and Respect courses are offered throughout the year. This powerful course is based upon the materials by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and have profoundly relevant and practical insights into how God designed men and women and how understanding the "love and respect connection" in light of our "unto Christ" relationship makes all the difference. Great for premarrieds, newly married, empty nesters and even singles looking to lay a good groundwork for healthier relationships.

Grace Based Parenting
Grace Based Parenting is a DVD-based journey based upon Dr. Tim Kimmel's outstanding materials. Through a study of Scriptural insights into the role of parents in raising children to be spiritual mature and healthy, this course is relevant for parents of kids of any age!

Consider it annual maintenance on your marriage - these 2 day get aways focus on infusing powerful truths, wisdom and practical ways to discover the fullness of Christ in your marriage.
Marriage Mentoring
The Bible encourages each of us to seek out wise counsel and to learn from the experience of others as we each also follow Jesus in all areas of our lives. Often times in our marriages we encounter obstacles or situations that we don't know how to navigate in healthy ways. Many of us never had the example of a Christ-centered marriage in our backgrounds, so the prospect of engaging on a marriage journey can bring a lot of anxiety from unknowns or the fear of repeating patterns seen in other relationships.
The Marriage & Family team is comprised of couples who have a passion for ministering our of their own marriage journey and story by helping other couples integrate Biblical truths and practical advice in their situations. Marriage Mentors most often get involved with the premarital counseling process and helping blended families navigate the unique challenges of integrating two families. As the team grows, we hope to be able to offer a broader spectrum of mentoring opportunities!
