The Bible has literally hundreds of passages that speak about financial matters - savings, debt management, planning for the future, providing for our families, honoring God through tithing, taking care of those most vulnerable and in need around us, and a host of topics that are often times referred to as "stewardship," "financial management," or "money matters." Not only does the Bible have a lot ot say on these subjects, but when we bring our lives in alignment with the truths and plan of Scripture, it opens all kinds of doors for experiencing freedom, peace and blessings in life! With money matters being a top trigger for failed marriages, top contributor to anxiety and stress disorders, and a universal concern - it makes sense for us to be intentional about discovering God's truths to this sticky area of our lives.
At Grace Point we strive to lead everyone to have a relationship of full devotion to Jesus Christ - and full devotion involves every aspect of our lives. We have a team of gifted volunteers who are passionate about helping people in the process of finding freedom and peace in their finances: the Give Team. This team of everyday people (teachers, bankers, stay at home moms, techies, construction workers, nurses and a variety of backgrounds!) work to put on powerful seminars, workshops, and even one-on-one counseling to help people from the community in the area of finances. Through resources like Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, Good Sen$e Budgeting, and other practical programs this area of Grace Point is available to help you, your friends and family or anyone in the community take steps towards experiencing the peace of aligning our life and finances with our faith and God's truth.
