2's and 3's
In the SEEDS classroom, shepherds spend all year developing relationships with the children in their class and Rotation Teachers come to the class to share the Bible story, a craft lesson, and a music lesson. This variety of hands on activities help teach the week's Bible story.
In the First Impressions classroom, the Bible story will be reinforced and another craft will be offered, along with some less structured play time. First Impressions Volunteers, made up of parents who have children birth – 3 years old, serve primarily during this hour once a month for one hour. As fellow parents, they will come alongside you to teach and nurture your child. Once you begin attending Grace Point Church regularly, our expectation is that you will become a part of the First Impressions Ministry.
2 and 3 year olds may stay in Kids of Grace classes during two worship hours (9:30, 11:00, 12:30) while their parents attend worship and serve or attend a class. The first hour is the SEEDS classroom and the second hour is the First Impressions classroom. More information for parents can be found in our brochure.
Security:
- Computer check-in with security receipts
- Only adults are allowed to pick-up children from classrooms
- Trained volunteers who have submitted to a background check
- Classrooms with a minimum of 2 leaders at all times
- Low child : leader ratios
