Identity and Beliefs

Grace Point exists to lead common people into uncommon life in Jesus. We do this by connecting people to Jesus and the church, by living in community, and by empowering people to pursue their calling. At Grace Point we strive to make Jesus and His Gospel our main focus by loving God, loving others, and loving our city and the world.

Grace Point is a church that desires to see the city of San Antonio changed, lives restored by the truth of God’s grace and love in the Gospel of Jesus Christ by being a community centered on the mission of Jesus to make disciples or as we say leading common people into uncommon life in Jesus. To find out more about us you can read about our vision below or visit us at one of our campus on Sunday.

We exist to lead common people into uncommon life in Jesus.

Who Is Jesus?

Growing up in the south, or the Bible belt as we call it means most of us have heard about Jesus and the church. It could just be something “everyone” did growing up depending on who you talk to. Maybe it was something you heard about on Sunday, at home, or even at school if you had a great teacher. Often times those ideas or descriptions were not sufficient to paint the picture of who Jesus really is and what Jesus has done in the Gospel.

When we look at the Bible Jesus is described as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, as the one who is both the Lion of Judah and the Lamb of God, along with many other accounts in the Bible and from history stated Jesus was born, crucified, and later rose from the grave. As much as we know about Jesus there is still so much more to Jesus and we as a church are on the journey of knowing more of God and we would invite you to join us.

If you are still figuring out what you believe about Jesus or maybe walking through wounds from past experiences, you are more than welcome at Grace Point. We want you to take time to ask questions and as you search or seek out healing we believe God is faithful to meet you where you are at and begin to show you who He is and what He has done for you. We would love to help in that process.

At Grace Point we believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and He truly is the Son of God. We know this from the Bible. We believe the Bible is really the Word of God and from it we understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and also receive instruction for how we live. To understand Jesus we recommend you visit one of our services at a campus and start reading the Bible on your own, we would highly recommend one of the Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. As we stated before, we would love to join you on this journey.
