Life Group Leader Training - West campus

Life Groups are an essential part of Grace Point's mission of leading common people into uncommon life in Jesus. Life Groups at Grace Point are the primary means of discipleship and helping people to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Currently about 40% of our average adult attendance on Sunday mornings are engaged in a Life Group. As you can see, there is great need for new leaders and new groups! We want all Grace Pointers to have the opportunity to pursue Jesus in the context of community.

You can register for our next Life Group Leader Training here. Classes start on Wednesday, November 6 and continue through December 11 (will not meet the week of Thanksgiving), and will be held in Room 107 at West Campus. Childcare is available for birth-5th grade, but you must pre-register. If you have questions, contact Sharon Denney at sharon.denney@gracepoint.org.

Before the Class

There are three steps that we ask every Life Group Leader candidate to complete on their way to becoming a new Life Group Leader. All steps need to be completed, and are usually completed in this order:

  1. Review the Life Group Leader Role Description and Life Group Covenant and note any questions you have about either document for discussion in step 3.
  2. Complete the Life Group Form and bring it to the class.
  3. Complete Life Group Leader Training (5-6 weeks, offered periodically through the year).

Please complete steps 1 and 2 above, before you start training on November 6.
