Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team serves mostly on an as needed basis. Periodically we have opportunities to serve refreshments or banquet type meals at conferences, leadership events, funerals, etc. We ask the Hospitality Team to serve as hosts, assist with food prep or serving the catered food, setting up the venue or cleaning up the venue.

Kids Ministry

+ Nursery (Birth to 2 years)

Birth-2-year-olds is our Sunday morning ministry to preschool children that supports parents in their efforts to raise children who will be fully devoted followers of Christ. While parents attend Worship, take a class, or serve, children are well cared for by dedicated shepherds.

+ Preschool (2 years to Kinder)

Shepherds
Shepherds serve Pre-K and Kindergarten children by providing a Christ-centered environment so they learn about His love for them.  Children this age are in a major transition. They are at the crest of asking those “thought” questions and will continue to grow more in their knowledge that Jesus Christ is their Savior and wants a relationship with them.  This is a shared ministry effort with the Birth-Kinder Rotation Teachers.

Rotation Teachers
Must be a Mission Partner to serve on this team.
A Rotation Teacher uses his or her love and/or talents in either storytelling, music, or craft to share God’s Word with preschool aged children.  A teacher for each area will rotate in and out of the classrooms so that each group of children will spend about 15 minutes experiencing the story and concept through each of the three areas.

+ Elementary (1st-5th Grade)

Shepherds
Must be a Mission Partner to serve on this team.
Shepherds have the precious task of making a heart-to-heart connection with the 1st – 5th grade kids in their “flock.” Shepherds and their children rotate to a different workshop each Sunday at 10:00 or 11:30 am, learning the same Biblical concept taught by 1st-5th Grade Rotation Teachers.

Teachers

Our workshop rotations allow children to learn and retain Biblical concepts through a variety of learning styles. Teachers prepare one lesson per rotation and teach to a different age group each week for four to six weeks.  This is a shared ministry effort with the 1st—5th Grade Shepherds.

The Guest Services Team assists parents in checking in their kids for their birth through 5th grade classes at our check-in kiosks and greets visitors to Grace Point Kids. We also assist visitors in registration and feeling welcome and secure.

+ Kids Event Team

The Event Team assist in various areas/roles (registration, decorating, food, recreation, music, set-up, clean-up, etc.) at each of the 12-14 kid events throughout the year. These events are designed to share God’s Word with the community, allows fellowship time for the kids, and is another way for kids to learn about Christ and uncommon life in Jesus.

+ Kids Co-Op

Grace Point Kids Co-op is a cooperative effort of parents of preschoolers, pastoral staff and their spouses, elders, point persons and other adults and youth who work together to minister to our Birth – Kindergartners one Sunday a month or once a quarter. Student Ministry

+ Teachers

Teachers are the chief shepherds of our Student classes. The Teacher is the primary leader of each week’s lesson and teaches God’s word to encourage personal growth while stimulating character and behavior changes in Students’ lives. Teachers work on a rotation, teaching every couple of weeks. This is a West campus only role.

With friendly smiles and welcoming hearts, the Guest Services Team serves as the face of Student Ministry.
